For General Practitioners
Australia's dedicated vestibular physicians — here to support you and your patients.
Why Partner With Us?
We believe GPs are the frontline of healthcare. Yet vestibular medicine remains one of the most underserved and misunderstood disciplines. Dizziness and balance disorders are among the most common presentations in primary care, yet they're often managed with uncertainty.
By referring to our expert vestibular physicians, you're not just transferring a clinical problem—you're gaining a partner committed to evidence-based diagnosis, comprehensive management, and clear communication with you and your patient. Together, we can transform dizziness management and improve patient quality of life.
Why Refer to Us
History and Examination — Done Properly
Over nine years, we've refined our history-taking and examination to reliably identify the cause of dizziness in most patients. There's no guesswork — just pattern recognition built from thousands of consultations.
Objective Vestibular Testing
We assess inner ear, brainstem, and cerebellar function through a structured battery: recorded oculomotor test, video head impulse test, and recorded positional tests. Hearing and VEMP testing are added when indicated — giving us a complete and objective picture.
From Assessment to Action
Most patients leave with a diagnosis and a plan. That plan is built collaboratively and covers what matters: education about their condition, lifestyle changes, medication, particle repositioning manoeuvres where indicated, and referrals for investigations or physiotherapy as required.
GP-Friendly Communication
You'll receive a detailed report after every consultation — diagnosis, investigation results, management plan, and any referrals made. We keep you informed at every step so shared care is seamless.
Evidence-Based Care
Our protocols follow international best-practice guidelines. You can be confident that your patients are receiving world-class vestibular medicine management.
Telehealth for Your Patients
When clinic access is limited, we offer telehealth consultations so your patients in regional or remote areas can still receive expert care without unnecessary travel.
How to Refer
Choose Your Referral Method
You can send a referral through HealthLink, fax, or email. Alternatively, ask the patient to contact us directly. In some centres, patients can also book online themselves.
